Physical brands carry real costs and thinner margins, so a split does not make sense. A retainer keeps the work continuous and the incentives clean.

We agree a percentage of what the product earns before I start, and it is written down. There is no deposit and no monthly fee. I get paid when you get paid, which means I only take on brands where I genuinely think I can sell something.
Physical products carry stock, shipping and materials costs, so the margin left over is much thinner and a split gets messy fast. A flat monthly fee is cleaner for both of us and it keeps the work going month to month instead of stopping at launch.
No to both. I have worked with accounts under 10k that convert better than accounts ten times the size, because the audience actually trusts them. If you have no product yet, that is normally the easiest version of this job.
I read every application myself, usually within a few days. If I think we are a good fit to work together, I reach out and we book a call. If you do not hear back, it means I did not think I was the right person for your brand right now, and that is not a judgement on what you are building.
You keep everything already built and it stays live and yours. All work stops from that date, so no further updates, changes or fixes, and maintenance becomes your responsibility. It is worth reading the Terms of Service before you apply so there are no surprises later.
